Application
Glycylglycine is a biochemical reagent. It is used as a stabilizer for blood preservation and protein drug cytochrome C water injection in biological research and medicine. It can be used to determine the substrate of diglycidyl peptide dipeptidase and synthesize peptides.As a short peptide, the interaction between diglycidyl peptide and transition metals plays a key role in many fields such as bioengineering and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Glycylglycine has also been reported to be helpful in solubilizing recombinant proteins in E. coli. Using different concentrations of the glycylglycine improvement in protein solubility after cell lysis has been observed.
